First AG sighting!

Boyfriend and I were at perkins, and we saw our first AG sighting! LOL
Little girl was carrying around #21! She had her meet outfit with some square glasses on! My boyfriend was like " Isnt that the same doll you have?" LOL
It was cute to see her out in public. A lot of the elderly people eating were like " thats an american girl doll" etc
It attracted quite a bit of attention! [img]smile.gif[/img]

It's fun to see them out. DH manages a restaurant and sees them from time to time. Last weekend a girl brought an AGT in. He stopped by their table and and asked if it was a Today Girl. The girl was very happy for the interset and the mom thought he was a great dad for knowing the difference between AGT and Historicals.

That's cool! Around here sometimes I feel like we are on a different planet. I've never seen another girl out in town with an AG and DD says that no one knew what they were last year, and this year she took one to school for show and tell- one girl in her class knew and that was it.

The lady who stopped us at WalMart last weekend, thought Ruthie was a My Twinn doll.
